Busy weekend

We decided to connect our two decks and so with a lot of help from our friend Ray next door, Bryan ordered the lumber and they dug in. Considering the late start, they got a lot done. We are going to have on heck of a deck when it is done! I can not wait to have some good old summer get togethers out there.

Ophelia just got home from school and asked me if she could read me her book that she got out of the school Library today. It is unbelievable what these kids are doing these days in Kindergarden! She sat here and read me the whole book. And she has already been doing math, like adding and subtracting. It is amazing! She is a really smart kid!

However, I on the other hand am not where she gets her brains from, it must be her daddy! Since today I got half of my order from Dicks Sporting Goods and for the life of me I can not get the T-Ball set that I bought to go together! Talk about feeling like a dumby! It is all of 5 pieces or so, and I can not get them to work together. Oh well, maybe daddy can figure it out. Well gotta run around and close some windows, we have a Thunderstorm coming!

Monday

We got a lot of work done on the yard we are really getting it all together. We even got the pool open! Now it is Monday back to the gym, I am in serious need of toning up! I still have to buy a bathing suit and just the thought scares me, I am not comfortable enough with myself to go there yet! Give me a few weeks and things will work out literally just fine. Well anyway, off I go I have to get 2 kids ready for school! Happy Day!!1

Friday

Finally Friday is here, I actually worked today! Doesn't happen often, but once in a while I will actually work outside of the house. I just go up to the Pre-School and sub for them as needed. It is fun to go and play with the kids up there from time to time. The other teachers are really nice, and the kids are really cute. Now we will be getting the kids to bed in a bit and then some friends are coming over for a visit. It is the second weekend they are coming and I have to say it is nice to look forward to. Well Ophelia and I have a birthday party to attend tomorrow afternoon, I will return in my next spare 5 mins........HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!

Good Morning

Well we got the pool open last weekend, now we just have to get the water level up. We should be getting rain today, and we had some last night. The kids can't wait to get in it! They ask everyday to swim. Soon enough, right now they could other than that fact that the water is too cold. We are going to finish up some more of the yard work this weekend, and maybe we will plan for a BBQ. If not we will definatly have one next weekend. I can not wait, I love summer and it is right around the corner. Well enough about me.........have a great day!!!!

Coffee and Kids...

Thank GOD for COFFEE, without it I don't think we would have a chance at servival today! We had a heck of a night last night, I think we were up almost every hours for one reason or another, and upon waking up we noticed that we had an extra body in our bed! Ophelia had a tummy ache last night, however there was no fever or any other symtoms so it was off to school for her!

Well things seem to be improving! My little Athena is finally fever free lets see how long it lasts! Hopefully all day!!! And my parents should be arriving sometime today that will be GREAT! They are coming down to see the dance recital. Depending on how today goes maybe Athena will get to dance in it after all.

I am not wait for school to be over for the kids, they can play more and get less colds! That and that would mean summer is here and we get to open the pool and have some backyard parties, we are long over due for a good fun party! I should have some cute pictures after the weekend!

Athena seems to be sick again! Man this is getting old. I put her down for a nap and thought she would wake up happy and ready to dance and instead she got up throwing up everywhere!! She has had no desire to eat anything not even fruit snacks! She is trying a little cheese and some soda, but we shall see. On the other hand Ophelia is doing well and she will be going to dance tonight. She gets her costume today and her recital is on Saturday. I wish they were both going to get to go but what can you do??

Happy Mother's Day

I had an awsome Mother's Day! Bryan took Ophelia out shopping on Saturday, and then when they got back I went to Lisa's for a Southern Living Party! After the party Lisa and I went to Bingo, unfortunatly we didn't win this time but it was fun! Then came Mother's day, I got great gifts, Athena got me the Gilmore Girls Season 3, Ophelia got me a beautiful Cala Lili plant, she picked me a white one because that was my choice flower at my wedding! She is always thinking!! And Bryan got me a projector (did i mention how much he wanted one) I love him and we all love our new 90 inch TV!!! I hope all you other mothers out there had a great one!!!

Today Today

Well, tomorrow is supposed to be the Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast at Ophelia's school, however she came home today with a fever so we have to see what tomorrow brings. I hope she is feeling better but if not it will be day in for us. Other than that we are hanging in and waiting for school to end. It will be nice to have summer break. I think Ophelia will be happy to wake up with an alarm clock prompting it. How bad is that my poor little 5 year old is waking up to an alarm clock!! Oh well what can ya do!?! I will keep you posted on her fever, bye bye for now......
