Snow again....

I thought we were done with this weather, that is why I moved south! Well we got some snow and sleet and junk today. The good part about it is that Bryan got to stay home too. We started to paint our bedroom, it is the last room in the house to be painted we really like the way the color turned out, it looks like the inside of a pumpkin pie. But other than that we have been hanging around, we have to go and pick up Bryan's brother in Richmond, he is going to stay with us until Friday. I can not wait for him and his family to move down here. Bryan is bottling another batch of beer, and he will probably brew another batch tonight too. Can't complain about free home brewed beer!! Well as for the weather I bet it would have not happened if I didn't hang out my new Spring flags! I guess that is what i get! Well I have to make up some sausage and peppers for dinner. Stay warm, spring is on the way.........

Well...well...well....

Today I am hosting a Southern Living Party. I hope it goes well, I have never hosted a party like this before! I went with the get them drunk approach, I went to Total Wine and Beer, and I bought 6 bottles of assorted wine. Perhaps the more fun they have the more money they will spend! The more they spend the more I get! See how this works, well I have to keep moving, Ophelia has to finish her homework and Bryan is going into work early this morning, FUN FUN FUN!

HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY

Well, I have to say... yesterday my little girl asked me at dinner, "mommy, can I watch the news tomorrow?" (did I mention she is 5) I told her sure you can, and she got up this morning and begged from 6am on to watch the news! Well finally I found out what was up, she knew from school not only that it was Groundhog's Day, but she already knew that the groundhogs name was Philip and that he was coming out today. It was awsome!!!! So there we sat and watched and smiled about how cool it was and then we got the news. Darn he saw his shadow but man it was so worth it. I have to say even though it may seem sappy it was so neat. I have to say at that moment, I thought to myself I love my life!!! So HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY to you and I hope yours was just as amazing!!!
