It was all fun and games until the girls got sick!

sick again...

The girls both have strep throat. At least they got to play in the snow before it really hit them hard. Now they are down and out, and mommy is starting to feel it too. Lets hope it passes! I will post a picture of Ophelia in the snow soon. Need to Cuddle and Rest with my girls.

Ophelia's second quarter of 1st grade

Ophelia has a great second quarter report card. She got an award for bringing up 3 grades without any other grades dropping. So her report card was straight As well Es because that is what they get in 1st grade! And she got one S in work and study habbits. But that is still awsome! She also got a certificate for getting into the Math Hall of Fame. It is an acelerated Math program at her school and you have to pass a timed math test and she did great! And finally, last on my bragging rights here she also got a Powhatan Pride award, that is awarded to the children with great pride, responsibility and honesty. We are very proud of her!

Christmas party

This is a picture of us at Bryan's works Christmas party. It is a little blurry but it is Ernie, Jen, me, Bryan, Matt and Alicia. We had a really great time!

Happy New Year!

Well so far so good, the new year is off to a great start. The weather has been really nice and I got to ride last Friday. Of course Athena is in lunchbunch tomorrow and I thought I would get to ride again but we are expecting thunderstorms. You win some and you lose some. I am just happy to have a horse again and Callie is such a pleasure to own. The girls are doing really well in school. Ophelia will be getting another report card at the end of this month, we can not wait. Athena is loving preschool but she can not wait for next year when she gets to ride the bus with her sister to the big school. What ever will I do with all that time? Maybe I will get to ride everyday!!! Bryan is looking forward to me being availible to meet up with him for lunch once in a while. I have to say these are all things to look forward to. But it will be diffrent not having a child in tote everywhere I go. What has it been now 6 years that I have gotten used to having at least one of them with me all the time. I think I will really appreciate my weekends with my whole family!! Well enough of my babble, I hope everyone is having a great new year!!
